eCaptiv, a subsidiary of the american insurer Energi, has trained two groups of captive insurance for the canadian trucking industry.
The first group will be designed specifically for companies that transport hazardous materials, while the second will be for those who propose short and medium trips. The programmes are designed for companies that pay more than $ 250,000 in premiums.
Companies that wish to become members may send their nomination. The programs will begin in July 2019.
eCaptiv says that all of the members of the groups will be called to adopt technologies of risk management, including with cameras of windshield, telematics and online training.
