In 2017, Funding Eureka, the financing subsidiary of premiums for the banner in damage insurance, AssurExperts, has passed the milestone of 100 firms with which it did business.
This project, which has seen the light of day in 2015, is on track to achieve the $ 20 million of premium volume. “We have a very strong growth. The approach we have adopted to generate this volume is to open the market to all firms, not only to the members of the banner, ” says Pierre Boisvert, a former leader of AssurExperts and currently advisor to the president, Rémy-Pierre Boisvert.
Financing costs dynamic
He adds that the success of Funding Eureka is due to financing costs dynamics, which can reach up to 1.5 % depending on the folders. In addition, the program of 12 equal payments monthly is also popular ; 50 % of offers in Eureka benefit from the program. “The payments are all-inclusive : the premium, the taxes, the expenses of insurers and the broker’s commission,” says Rémy-Pierre Boisvert.
The centres of expertise are multiplying
Over the years, AssurExperts has set up several centres to help its members. Among these, the centre of expertise in bond, which allows more of the member firms operate in this sector.
“Some of the dealers who had never touched these risks can now do so thanks to the centre. This gives them an advantage compared to dealers who will not touch them, since they are likely to see their volume of business transferred to those who make bail, ” stresses Rémy-Pierre Boisvert. It also specifies that the center of investment for insurance companies is doing well ; between 50 and 100 requests are received per day.
In addition, the banner has added 11 new members, including mergers and acquisitions, bringing the total number to 66 with 90 points of sale. The premium volume is approximately 300 million dollars.
To deal with the shortage of employees
For the current year, in addition to continuing to develop the commercial sector, AssurExperts account launch tools in human resource for its members. “This is the new component that we would like to offer to our members. The shortage of labour is felt everywhere, so we want to give to the owners of firms a tool box to counter the trend in the next few months “, reveals Rémy-Pierre Boisvert.
