Aviva finance five assurtech canadian

Aviva Canada and the innovation centre for startups OneEleven will support five canadian companies in the framework of a programme launched in February to help assurtech and thus to stimulate innovation in the insurance. The five selected startups will participate in an intensive programme of growth, of a duration of four months with Aviva Canada and OneEleven. The program begins immediately.

The company specializes in health Maple, the platform in real estate MapYourProperty, the comparison site financial RateHub, an application that captures the waves of the advertisements surrounding in order to allow consumers to buy instantly the product demonstrated Soundpays platform and streamlining of financial and insurance services WealthTab are the assurtech selected by Aviva and OneEleven.

“These five businesses offer a wide range of solutions in assurtech and they touch both the health services, financial and commercial,” says Ryan Spinner, head of the sector of digital and innovation at Aviva Canada. The insurer plans to invest $ 170 million in startups and technology over the next three to five years.
