The Aviva community Fund has announced the winners of the categories Small ideas and Big ideas of the edition 2018 from its competition. For this edition, Aviva has allocated one million dollars to finance community projects across the country in the framework of the 10th anniversary of the competition.
“Congratulations to all the winners of the Aviva community Fund. While the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Fund fall under a theme that encourages the reconciliation of the people, we could not be more proud to support ideas, small or large, that will have a lasting effect in their communities, ” says Colm Holmes, president and chief executive officer ofAviva Canada.
Among the ten finalists in the category Big ideas, the bidders whose Big ideas have garnered the highest number of votes, a jury has chosen the three winners of a $ 100,000 financing, and the seven winners of a funding of $ 15,000 for their ideas.
The 50 bidders, including the Small ideas have received the highest number of votes will each receive funding of $ 10,000. A prize of $ 5,000 will be awarded to the idea that receives the greatest number of votes of dealers-partners of Aviva Canada.
