BFL Canada and Aon will acquire volumes

BFL Canada has announced the acquisition of Summit Insurance Brokers inc., a brokerage firm founded in the late 1990s, specialized in risk management of industrial, commercial, and livestock, located in Prince George, British Columbia.

“This acquisition will allow us to increase our presence in certain major sectors and growing in Canada “, commented Barry F. Lorenzetti, president, ceo and founder of BFL Canada. The giant canadian adds to its arc of specialised services to enterprises in the sectors forestry, agriculture, and transportation, as well as to the operators of the areas oil, gas and mining. The portfolio of Summit Insurance Brokers also includes small farms, a small farm and automotive companies.

Mr. Lorenzetti said to predict that the central and northern British Columbia will be significant economic growth over the next five years. “This transaction will allow BFL Canada to enjoy the region to its knowledge of the industries, of his advantageous position in the market, its business model and its digital expertise,” he concludes.

Hugh Delwo and Al Delwo, formerly president, chief executive officer and vice-president of Summit Insurance Brokers, will serve respectively as regional vice president for the office of Prince George and is responsible for the business development of this region.

Aon acquires a firm in maritime quebec

The global provider of professional services and solutions in risk management, Aon, has announced the integration within its ranks, the firm’s gaspé Nicomer, today.

Based in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, the firm specializes in marine insurance, founded in 2009 by Josyanne Used, is recognized in the commercial fishing industry for its expertise and its involvement in the local community.

Two years after having obtained his qualifications of insurance broker and claims adjuster, Ms. Used for joining Aon, the 15 march last, in the company of Denis Used and Manon Rioux, the members of his team.
