InsurTech Quebec : Ubios wins the contest pitch

This is the startup, technology Ubios , who has won the competition pitch event InsurTech Québec in 2018, held in Quebec city. The event was attended by some 160 people, environments, technology and insurance. The contest was supported by the company V-NEO, which specializes in innovation and maximising performance in insurance.

Among the dozens of competitors, the jury has stopped its choice on Ubios, a company that has created a solution to prevent water damage in the buildings of 16 units or more. It is now a solution for less than 16 units.

The company, which Mathieu Lachaîne is the CEO and founder, has received a $ 5,000 scholarship offered by Desjardins Lab as well as an incubation period and cover three months at the CAMP in the premises of the Desjardins Lab.

Special Mention

The jury also awarded a special mention to another young shoot Livsta. The company has developed a technology to guide consumers in their choice of priorities of financial needs and insurance. She has won three months of coaching with the program Apollo13 and accommodation at the BNKR offered by Spektrum.
