Theinsurance Institute of Quebec and the Council of professionals in financial services (CDPSF) have created a one-stop shop to offer their services to their members within the framework of the strategic partnership announced last April.
Mario Gregory, president and chief executive officer of the CDPSF, stresses that the partnership is intended to “experiment with new training activities joint” and that the single window will reduce the costs and simplify the administrative processes for obtaining continuing education credits.
The two organizations, with a total of more than 17 000 professionals registered with theAutorité des marchés financiers, intend to integrate several services and over the next few months.
“This agreement promotes the creation of synergies between actions in adult learning and human resource management. It also allows us a better use of funds currently being used for the vocational training of the joint, ” explains Julie Saucier, director general of the insurance Institute of Quebec.
“This joint project aims to explore the action of training organizations across Quebec and Canada. It centralizes resources to provide additional services consistent with the requirements of the regulator, ” said Mr Gregory.
