Francis Corriveau, Jacques Fortier and Philippe Bureau

With the retirement of Jacques Fortier, Philippe Bureau and Francis Corriveau took over the management of the claims adjusters Déry Biretta and associates, established in Sherbrooke.

Mr. Fortier draws its révérance after a career of 45 years expertise in the settlement of claims, including 33 years with Déry Barrette & Associates. The transfer has been formalized in the beginning of February, learned of the insurance Journal.

The transfer of notes was planned for some time, the two buyers being implemented in the company since ten years. If Mr. Fortier has chosen this moment to leave the company, it is in order to devote more time to his family.

Over his career, he is involved in several causes, both in industry and in the region of Sherbrooke. It had also been at the forefront of the tragedy which struck the community of Lac-Mégantic in 2013, Déry Module having deployed a mobile unit to support the disaster victims.
