Ul Mutual is acquiring a management platform for group insurance

Ul Mutual has completed the acquisition of the company M@gik-Net that offers management software to group insurance. Its customers manage the portfolio of 5,000 companies, representing a total premium volume of $ 350 million. Located in Rimouski, the company will retain its full autonomy, its employees and its head office.

The platform allows to manage all operations related to the group insurance plans as it relates to the sales process, plan administration and benefit management.

“Ul Mutual is a company with which we share the same values and the same vision. I am confident that they will evolve the solutions to the benefit of customers and users in the canadian market, ” says Serge Tremblay, founder of M@gik-Net. Mr. Tremblay will remain in post to ensure the transition.

Transformation of the management system

With this acquisition, UV Mutual began a transformation of its own system of administration, said the insurer.
